Today, September 28, 2018, in the methodological seminar "Specialized methodological intervention in ensuring an inclusive educational process", the Republican Center for Psycho-Pedagogical Assistance and A.O. "VERBINA" presented the Didactic Support "Individualizing the Reading-Writing Teaching Process for Children with Special Educational Needs" designed within the project "Development of the Model of Inclusive Education for Children with Intellectual Disabilities", implemented by A.O. "Verbina", financially supported by the IM Swedish Development Partner.
The development of the Teaching Support "Individualizing the Reading-Writing Teaching Process for Children with Special Educational Needs” comes to support the teacher, the support teacher (CDS), the parent and other specialists engaged in the process of teaching reading and writing of children with special educational needs.
The event was aimed to help specialists, primary and general secondary education teachers from the District / Municipal Psycho-pedagoical Assistance (SAP) services throughout the Republic.
"It is a revolutionary didactic support that promotes inclusion, diversity and breaks stereotypes; it is a practical, efficient and useful working tool, with well-known professional authors (Svetlana Galben, Angela Cazac, Viorelia Oboroceanu-Mitronici, Viorica Cojocaru), professionals with vast experience in inclusive education. Thanks to this didactic support, ALL children will have access to quality education, "said Ana Levinte, director of A.O. "Verbina".
The development of the support was coordinated by CRAP specialists, Mrs. Virginia Rusnac and Svetlana Curilov. Mrs. Aurica Brînza consulted the authors in the process of testing the learning units on children with sensory impairments.
Ms. Curilov, vice-director of the CRAP, stated that "The Teaching support is based on the classical / traditional method of reading-writing teaching and helps teachers in the educational process of children with special educational needs. It is a very well-structured model that gives us a boost to creativity in the development of individual work forms. "
